What images come to your mind when you think of South America? Close your eyes right now, think about South America, what pops into your head? When I think of the continent, my mind floods with pictures of palm trees swaying back and forth on stunning white sandy beaches. Views of parrots singing and jaguars prowling in lush, green, jungles pop in my head. I also see vibrant, colourful houses, and crowds of people salsa dancing the night away.
When I think of South America, I am reminded of fantastic memories of young(er) Cass having the most fun with amazing new friends. A lot of laughter, a lot of adventure and a lot of unique experiences that allowed me to meet some beautiful souls and give me a glimpse into some beautiful cultures.

Peru is one of my top favourite countries. (ok, I know that I say that every place is my favourite, but I can’t help, the world has so many amazing places!) Peru is the perfect destination for anyone who is looking for a mix of adventure, culture, and ancient history.
If adventure is your thang, then you must hike Machu Picchu, explore the Amazon rainforest and visit the rainbow mountains. Peruvian culture is incredibly unique and fascinating. Tango, empanadas, good wine, oh my! Argentina is a land of passion and beauty. I spent six weeks in Argentina volunteering, and it was one of my favourite trips I have ever been on. For this trip, I explored the amazing city of Buenos Aries and had a blast exploring a city with so much passion. Argentina has a rich history and an interesting culture that I fell in love with really fast. One thing that I didn’t get to do in Argentina that I would love to do would be to visit Patagonia. It just looks like one of the most beautiful places on earth, and I would love a chance to explore it.
