40 Self-Care Ideas For You To Try
Hello, gorgeous! Happy February! I have been calling Febuary my self-love month, and I have decided that I want to dedicate this month to caring for myself more and trying new self-care ideas. If you are interested in diving into a deep love with yourself, make sure to sign up for my 28 Days of Self-love! Self-love and self-care have become very trendy topics over the last year and honestly, I couldn’t’ be more thrilled! Taking care of ourselves should always be in style. When we take the time to love and care for ourselves we can love our lives more, have more confidence, feel more balanced and have healthier relationships. If you desire to love your life more and you need some help doing that, here is a list of self-care ideas that you can try.

Mental Self-care Ideas
- Take a bath.
- Read a book.
- Meditate.
- Journal. My guided journal Reflection is great for this!
- Practice Breathwork.
- Pray or read religious texts.
- Go to therapy.
- Call a friend who you are 100% comfortable with and can have a real conversation with.
- Get some fresh air.
- Snuggle a loved one or pet.
- Turn off your phone for a day.
Physical Self-care Ideas
- Exercise.
- Yoga.
- Hike or go for a walk.
- Travel as much as possible, in your country and internationally.
- Enjoy a spa day at home or at a spa.
- Get up and dance!
- Get 8 – 9 hours of sleep every night.
- Take breaks throughout your day.
- Get a massage.
- Roll your muscles with a form roller and a face roller.
Fun Self-care Ideas
- Create something i.e paint, write music, bake, etc.
- Colour. Use a colouring book or blank paper.
- Learn a new skill.
- Try something new i.e. new restaurant, new trail, new workout, new everything.
- Go on a solo trip.
- Order brunch and eat it in bed.
- Put on your favourite songs and sing your heart out.
- Do something that you love but that you rarely do
- Watch tv. movies all-day.
- Make a vision board.
Emotional Self-care Activities
- Learn to say no.
- Set your boundaries, with yourself,
- Discover your purpose.
- Learn to be honest with yourself, and others. Speak your truth.
- Get to know yourself.
- Manage your self talk aka be nice to yourself.

- Make choices that will help your dreams come true.
- Don’t settle for less than what you want.
- Allow yourself to rest when needed.
