10 Packing Hacks For Travellers

Hello my name is Cass (hi Cass) and I hate packing. There, I said it. Honestly the only thing I do not like about travelling is the simple yet painful process of pick up my clothing and placing them in my suitcase. Many times I have considered hiring a packing butler, to come over and pack my bags for me. If I ever was to find a tarnished gold lamp while exploring a market in an exotic country and I rubbed the lamp a genie came out, I would ask him for the ability to snap my fingers and have my travel bags perfectly packed.

Even though I may not like packing, being a travel professional I have packed over and over again and now have it down to an art. From all my voyages I have learned some nifty tricks, that not only help with packing heaps of items into small bags, but also helps keep your belongs organized.   1. Put your jewelry in pill containers. Bonus Tip: to prevent your necklaces from tangling wrap them in plastic wrap. 

  2. Roll your clothing. 

  3. Place your electronic cords in a bag.

  4. Bring a pillowcase or pillow.

  5. Put plastic wrap under the cap of your bottles. 

  6. Stack bras on top of each other and then place your underwear inside one of the cups and fold. 

  7. Keep your bag and clothing clean by placing shoes in a shower caps. 

  8. Use all your space by placing items inside your shoes. 

  9. Keep bobby pins and hair accessories in a bag. 

  10. Use an old medicine container for cotton balls and Q-tips.
