I have explored many beautiful places in the world! I have hiked up mountains, camped in the rainforest, and seen some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. However, one terrain that I would love to spend more time exploring is the desert! I have explored the desert a little bit – I did spend a couple of months in Israel and Jordan, but I didn’t have the chance to spend time roaming the desert as much as I would have liked. I also drove through Arizona and Mexico, but again I didn’t spend time hanging out in the heat and embracing the cactus life.
Lately, I have been day dreaming of being fully submerged in a desert location and getting to take awesome photos, with sand dunes, camels, and flowing clothes. I am picturing a scene like the scene in Sex And The City 2, when the girls are in Abu Dhabi and they are walking in bright, flowing, completely impractical but super stylish outfits.Â
 I also have been dreaming about taking a camping trip in the desert, in cool tents, getting to spend a few days exploring the area on camelback, and getting an epic view of the stars. I am dreaming about having a wild, exotic, epic desert adventure! How amazing does that sound?!Â
Being the amazing travel planner that I am, I have done some research and have decided on three beautiful desert destinations that I want to experience, and I wrote this post to share them with you and inspire you to travel to them as well!

Morocco!Â
I am dying to go to Morocco, in fact looking at photos of Morocco is what inspired my lust for the desert! If you follow me on Instagram, which you should be, you know that every Wednesday I host a round of Would You Rather travel edition, and while I was making one of the first ever questions, I came across some stunning photos of Morocco and ever since, I have been wanting to explore the desert and take some amazing photographs for myself. Morocco is located in North Africa, borders the Atlantic Ocean and is home to the infamous Sahara desert! It has a rich, beautiful culture and I cannot wait till I get to explore it.

Joshua Tree National Park, California
This is one of many of California’s, not so hidden, gems! Joshua Tree is a unique space where two different desert ecosystems merge and is home to a huge range of plants, and animals. It is a great place to explore, camp and hike. If you are looking for unique nature spots to visit in the states you should probably consider Joshua tree.
- Huacachina, Peru
How AMAZING does this place look! I bought a drone last week, YASS, and I would love to bring it to Huacachina and capture some beautiful footage! This stunning mirage like area is located about five hours from Peru’s capital city, Lima. You can dune buggy, go sand boarding and enjoy other awesome adventures here.
