5 of the Best Hiking Areas in Ontario

As I walked through the deep, beautiful, Ontario forest I couldn’t help but smile to myself. After a stressful week, it felt beyond amazing to step away from everything, escape the WiFi and cell reception zones and be fully submerged in nature. With every step I took, the more relaxed I became and soon all I could focus on was my stunning surroundings. The deep green trees stretched up so high above me, they looked like they were touching the sky. The fresh smell of leaves and the earth filled my nostrils and made the smile on my face grow a little bigger. One of my favourite smells is the freshness of the forest. I walked along the trail studying the thick roots that seemed to stretch out over the entire forest intertwining and running deep into the ground. Rocks and leaves covered the ground with occasional patches of bright green moss. This part of the forest is so thick that the only sunlight is from thin beams that creep in between the branches and leaves of all the trees.

Ontario is a huge province that is absolutely stunning. It is home to an endless amount of amazing hiking trails, all that, I believe are worthy of exploring. There are trails for all ages, and skill level. If you are even a little bit into the outdoors, I would recommend you visit Ontario and some of its many trails.
