5 Ways To Add More Adventure To Your Life

Adventure is one of the best things in life. If you are anything like me, you love travelling and spend way too much time dreaming about hiking enchanted forests, exploring shipwrecks, and tasting the best food that the world has to offer. You don’t just want to go to a resort and enjoy the all-inclusive buffet, you want to learn, grow and truly experience life.  You want adventure! All I can say to that is YASSSS QUEEN!

But what do you do when you can’t travel? How do you add adventure to your everyday life? Great question I am so glad that you asked!

Babe, I have some great ideas that can help you to add more adventure to your life no matter where in the world you are. Grab a drink and keep reading.

5 Ways To Add More Adventure To Your Life

Try new things

If you need a good adventure, a great place to start is to try new things and put yourself out there. Start to create an adventure by adding new things to your life and seeing what happens. When you say yes to life, life says yes to you.

Sign up for a design course, take an art class, learn how to code, pick up a psychology book, go to a different bar to hang out, delete Tinder and start talking to attractive strangers in public like it’s the 90’s. Keep trying new things, and make your life a non-stop adventure.

Side note: of course you should be smart and safe. Don’t put yourself in bad situations, please.

Stop forcing and go with the flow

If you are having a hard time adding adventure to your life, maybe try to stop forcing an adventure to happen. Life in itself is an adventure. Sometimes if you open your mind and go with the flow you could end up on an adventure without realizing it.

Go Outside

When in doubt, go outside! Adventure lives in the outdoors. No matter where you are in the world, there is nature. Go out and explore it. Find a trail to hike, go horseback riding, find a place to kayak, learn to surf, try rock climbing, go camping etc.

There are so many outdoor activities that you can try near your home. If you are new to the outdoor lifestyle, I recommended starting with hiking as it is mostly free and pretty much accessible for most people. Once you get comfortable with hiking, keep trying new outdoor activities.

Read a book

Books have the amazing ability to take our minds on the wildest of adventures. If you are in need of a good adventure, try picking up a good book. I am all for non-fiction books, but I personally find the greatest adventures to come from fiction stories. So I would recommend finding an exciting fiction to read.

Could you add anything to the list? Let me know in the comments.

May your life be filled with adventure always.

Love you,

loving life with cass
