11 Photos That Will Make You FALL In Love With Colorado

“Is it weird that I never get tired of hiking the same trails? “ I wonder to my self as I lead my two best friends and their adorable wiener dogs up the mountain. The beauty of Colorado is always a treat, but in the fall, the aspens bright green leaves turn golden yellow, creating one of the most breathtaking sights I have ever seen. We hike a long and enjoy each other’s company, conversation and acapella abilities. The higher up we get the colder the air is and even though I am not appropriately dressed for the temperature, I enjoy the fall weather.

One of my favourite thing about being from Canada, is that we have four completely different seasons. While I was travelling around the world for a year, I realized how lucky we are to have this and I started to appreciate every season more. It is incredible that here in Canada (and America) we have rainy days in the spring, hot, sunny summers, vibrant falls, and cozy, snowy winters.

My biggest travel tip for anyone who is wanting to explore Canada and/or America (side note: EVERYONE SHOULD COME AND TOUR AROUND CANADA AND AMERICA) is to experience each country during each of the seasons. This will create at least four trips for you, however it will be worth it because each trip will be a whole different
experience.

Starting in September, the leaves across North America start to change, turning from green to bright reds, yellows and oranges before falling to the ground. IT IS AMAZING, and worth planning a trip around. Going for any hike during this time will leave you in awe. If you want to experience one of my favourite places to see the leaves change, book a trip to the Peaks Pike region in Colorado, and enjoy hiking up Pancake Rocks. Check out these photos and see for your self just how beautiful it is.
